Heaven

Watch the tail end of the sunset
burnin in the sky like a neon sign
there comes a time when you realize
you realize its not over its only just begun
Heaven is already here x2
Oh my darlin gone is the day and so and I
slow and steady try and try
cause I'm just like every other thing
the sky's gonna fall and the phones gonna ring
and this little bird this little bird's gonna fly
Heaven is already here x2
there is nothin to fear except where are you?
looking down every street
searching the eyes you meet to find your peace of mind
Heaven is already here x2

Take Me
04:58
|

Past the identical houses the crooked trees have grown tall
Seeking the sun
Growing toward the open spaces
Where the light is
These glorious mornings when hope is alive within us
We have just started again but not for the first time
Still we are able to believe
To try
Because we know
Now is alive
It sparks with possibility (on) and moves like a river (on)
I have always whispered take me (on)
Take me (on)
On your adventures
Take me down the detours
Take me
Take me
These dark days of grey sky
Among the bones of the crooked bare trees
Budded in dormancy and awaiting
Another resurrection
Take me
In that direction
Take me (on)
Take me (on)
Take me

Sarah Asher Cincinnati, Ohio
Sarah Asher was a fixture in the Columbus, Ohio music scene where she recorded three EP’s and a full length album before she
split town for a 10 year stent in the hills of Kentucky. Sensing the hollow places in her ukulele dreams she found inspiration beginning again with a garden and a guitar.
The artist currently resides in the greater Cincinnati area where she performs locally and regionally.
